I am passionate about promoting astronomy and research as a career . I am particularly passionate about encouraging women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and encouraging young women and girls to remain in STEM fields throughout school and beyond.

I have spoken at alumni and career panels at Monash University and met individually with students to discuss careers in astronomy and science. I have also given presentations to various age groups at high schools and primary schools to show the amazing things that can be discovered through science. I have spoken at the Rotary Club of Lilydale about my career path and my research.

At the University of Manchester I have volunteered at several outreach events, including ScienceX at the Trafford Centre, a Girl's Night Out at the Jodrell Bank Observatory, and giving talks for visiting high school students. I will be volunteering at the 2018 Bluedot festival.

If you would like a young, passionate astronomer to come and speak to your group, whether they are students or adults, I'm happy to help! It's never too late or too early to have your mind blown by the wonders of space.
